Experienced Business Development Officer for Conventional Debt Trustee, Business Escrow Agent, Collateral and Insurance Trust, Securities Custody and other products offered by Computershare Corporate Trust. The primary territory will focus on the US Northeastern capital markets. New business calling efforts and the target market is upper middle to large corporate markets, capital market and M&A focused attorneys, law firms and other referral sources. Travel is required throughout the region, representing the business at conferences and events and client development efforts. This position is for a Corporate Trust Sales Representative 3, the second highest of four levels. Significant additional compensation opportunity in addition to a base salary can be derived from a commission based Sales Incentive Plan and incentive bonus component.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships while selling Corporate Trust products and services to issuers of debt and business escrow needs particularly for merger and acquisitions. Additional responsibilities include products and services for trust and escrows for insurance collateral trusts, securities custody and 1031 like kind exchanges for real estate. There is not a significant existing book of business expected to be initially assigned as this role is primarily designated for new client development.

In addition to many business partners for negotiating new transactions, on-boarding new deals, relationship management teams, and marketing, the business development team includes a Market Growth & Development team that heavily supports the business development officers in their efforts.
Key skills desired for the role include:
- 6+ years of experience selling, contracting or servicing financial and corporate trust products
- Bachelor's Degree and/or similar experience
- Versed in the fiduciary and operational risks associated with trustee, agent roles and financial markets
- Experienced and existing relevant business network in the target markets
- Proven effectiveness managing client relationships
- Proven collaboration and negotiation skills
- Experience forming or understanding pricing models

- Compensation.The base pay range for this role is $104,000-$156,000. This base pay range is specific to St. Paul, MN and may not be applicable to other locations.
