Sales Representative (K-12)

As a Sales Representative, you will work with the Sales team and will be responsible for developing and closing new sales opportunities for our Reflectivity and Mirror products. This includes full sales life cycle development to existing and prospective customers. After an initial training and upskilling period, this role qualifies and develops both inbound and outbound sales activities and is responsible for closing deals with large educational districts.
This is a remote opportunity and will be based in the US.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Sales Operations to build outbound campaigns and develop proactive territory plans, utilizing analytics and regional trends to create target lists
- Utilize a consultative approach to build and leverage deep, multi-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at the District level
- Leverage established relationships to understand the customer’s goals and objectives and align Swivl’s offerings and value proposition to best meet those goals
- Work with Customer Success and the sales lead to develop strategic plans to address customer/prospects’ priorities and pain points
- Learn to be an expert of Salesforce and other sales software tools
- Execute outbound sales initiatives for both existing (upsell) and dormant customers
- Ability to conceptually sell to our products to educational leadershipÂ
- Drive the achievement of quarterly and annual objectives by cultivating consultative relationships with district leadership through a strategic blend of virtual and in-person sales activities.
- Travel at least 25% of the time
What You’ll Have:
- At least two years of sales experience within the education industry, specifically K-12
- Previous teaching experience
- Proficiency in educational and classroom technology (EdTech)
- Confidence in communicating and collaborating with executive-level personnel
- Flexibility and passion around experimenting with new methodologies, products and approaches, while also communicating and educating prospective customers
- Bachelor's degree
