Job Description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of contacts from assigned customer accounts.
  • Prepare and revise quotations while maintaining accurate order files during various stages of the negotiation process.
  • Work with customer accounts to ensure all Purchase Orders match the proposed specifications, terms and conditions, and all commercial aspects as quoted.
  • Process Sales Orders and manage accordingly.
  • Enter Orders based on the Quotation and Purchase Order, communicating the revisions as required, where required.
  • Communicate current pricing and deliveries with assigned customers.
  • Communicate directly with customers as required to ensure order information is communicated in a timely manner, and that problem resolution is handled fairly and completely.
  • Advise and discuss customer communications with account representatives.
  • Work with Product Engineering and Marketing to ensure Technical Requirements are met to complete quotations.
  • Work with Customer Service and Scheduling Departments to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction with and to management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Inside Sales related experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Oracle ERP system experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of relevant oil and gas products is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, service-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to learn and grow.
