What Will Be Your Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to partner with SG & LG sales teams to support dynamic market needs and effectively manage the onboarding of critical strategic groups. This position will monitor and conduct work through various applicable systems, as well as through the management of Small Group and Large Group Ancillary mailboxes, to ensure all phases of the sales process are executed timely. This position communicates and engages with internal and external customers and stakeholders including group representatives, agents and sales representatives to ensure all required business data and documentation is accurate and that groups are effectively onboarded and structured.
What Will You Be Doing:
Service Performance Responsibilities
- Manages, evaluates and analyzes new group and renewal sale processes. Accountable for pre-calculation, final rating calculation, and implementation of all sales processes (etc. ancillary business)
- Manages, evaluates and analyzes all required sales documents and legal contracts necessary in order for functional areas within the organization to implement and renew business.
- Manages and analyzes daily reports to identify growth opportunities and adjust related strategies within specific region
- Prepares and audits all required legal and corporate documents.
- Internal sales experts regarding benefits and product knowledge (example strategically advises sales department with selection of non-standard benefits)
- Demonstrates judgment and sound decision-making in managing relationships with external customers and stakeholders (example: implementation of non-standard benefits)
- Responsible for administering and complying with Federal and State laws and mandates.
- Provide assistance to external sales agents, group administrators and group decision makers in the absence of the Sales Representatives and FSR's.
- Change agent accountable for aligning amongst various business processes and tools to facilitate the initiation of new and renewed groups.
- Manage, develop, and build relationships with both internal and external partners including sales reps, agents, and agencies to improve communication, coordination and effective working relationships.
- Facilitates and participates in virtual visits/sessions with external agency to develop and enhance their knowledge of our business requirements including but not limited to data collected during new sales and renewals.
- Acts as liaison in the absence of Sales Management on workgroups and special projects.
- Manages and evaluates the effectiveness of solutions, policies, practices, and processes to ensure continuous improvement, good client relations, compliance and adherence to business and system requirements.
- Recommends improvements to achieve and deliver high quality, value-added services.
- Coordinates, produces, and distributes business documents such as reports, system, and process documentation, etc.
- Supports, participates in, or leads smaller components of projects. Carries out tasks and activities that support project plans and deliverables.
- May participate in department/divisional workgroups and initiatives.
- 4+ years related work experience with knowledge and understanding of sales and an operational environment, health Insurance products underwriting guidelines and procedures.
- Knowledge of large group rating, health, and ancillary products.
- Knowledge of Large Group Sales End-to End enrollment. Knowledge of Sales Siebel, eRate, RBMS, and SellPoint applications.
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate skills in a Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Extensive large group product knowledge
- Demonstrate excellent organization skills and planning skills
- Apply analytical thinking to facilitate problem solving, decision making and process improvements or efficiencies
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt in a team setting in a flexible and fast pace environment
- Effective communication - verbal/written along with good conflict resolution skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree
- Some college
- Operational Systems used within BCBSF.
- Health, Life & Variable Annuities License
- Bilingual - Spanish.

Salary
To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.
- Typical Hourly Pay Range: $24 - $30
- Hourly Pay Range: $24 - $39
- Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
- Exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
- Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
