Department Overview
Motorola Solutions is launching exciting new Mobile Video security products and services into the North America enterprise market. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist Manager to help us build this new business and achieve our financial targets.Job DescriptionThe Mobile Video Enterprise Sales Specialist Manager is chartered with the support of North America Sales goals through direct and indirect channels while serving as a customer facing subject matter expert for this new product line. Reporting under the product organization, this function also serves as the liaison between our go-to-market teams and product management therefore influencing product strategy and direction to remove sales friction and drive financial results. Success of this function is ultimately determined by our ability to achieve our product line financial targets. As such, this position collaborates closely with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the lead to closure process. Key responsibilities:
Serving as a product subject matter expert - Achieves a comprehensive understanding of not just product line features and benefits, but also regulatory environment surrounding the offer, unique vertical market differences, and integrations with other technology and services. Competitive positioning.
To-to-market Support for new product line - Hosting sales enablement webinars, engaging directly with partners and customers during high profile customer opportunities, supporting trade shows, product demonstrations, and panel discussions. Ensuring partners have all the tools necessary to be successful.
Go-to-market and customer voice into the product organization - Collecting and summarizing the voice of the customer and voice of sales. Performing retrospectives on deals wins and loses. Identifying obstacles which need to be addressed through product / offer changes or augmentation of our support tools, materials and training.
Preferred Skills:- Business Savvy with excellent communication skills
- 6 plus years experience in one of the following areas: Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Product Management.
- Ability to communicate effectively and teach others
- Dynamic personality that is comfortable in a presentation setting
- Mobile Video experience (Body-cameras, In-Car-Video, Analytics) Enterprise market experience preferred
Basic RequirementsEducation and Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Engineering, or Marketing
- Strong Leadership experience
- Travel is required in this role. 50%
