What You'll Do
As the Sales Business Development Specialist in Cisco's Global Cloud Networking Sales Team, you'll drive sales and technical initiatives that support the Cloud Infrastructure
Software Group (CISG). You will act as a consultant to other team leaders, and initiate programs and processes which impact other aspects of Cisco's business. You will bring an extensive cross-functional understanding of project/program objectives. You'll drive readiness within the Cloud Networking Business Unit, Marketing, Sales, and Partner community scaling concepts, overseeing collateral development, and creating feedback forums.• Work alongside leadership teams to develop and evolve long-term sales strategies while consistently driving planned activities• Design, implement, manage and track the adoption of new programs• Provide and share metrics post event/activity to determine value and business growth• Knowledgeable about the business and have a solid grasp on field care abouts• Lead on all fronts - from solving problems to consensus building in unstructured team environments to executive interactions• Event Program Planning including Cisco IMPACT, Cisco Live, Partner Summits and region-specific Sales Acceleration activities• This will include designing and building content and post-event summaries

Desired Experience:• 7+ years of related field sales experience including 3+ years of business development as a team lead.• Great eye for business and outstanding critical thinking skills• Strong analytical and the ability to solve complex problems• Organizational and prioritization skills are a critical component• Collaborative and open style, with a constructive and positive demeanor• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills• Willingness to change on the fly and embrace new organizational directions and initiatives• Strong project management skills• Ability to think in an unexpected way to overcome objections from key decision-makers
