Tempus is seeking a highly qualified Sales Strategy and Operations Associate to join our growing team. This role will broadly support our data business, primarily focused on oncology pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a movement to help improve cancer care with data and artificial intelligence.
What youβll do
- Build and influence the future of our Data team β this means everything from high-level strategy to the operational details
- Analyze large data sets to develop robust market insights and tangible strategies to support the vision for our commercial organization
- Support the quota and sales compensation design cycle; recommend solutions to quota, compensation, and performance related issues
- Drive business analytics, including tracking performance on key metrics and developing solutions to increase effectiveness
- Build processes from scratch and implement across teams to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies within our sales and support infrastructure
- Work cross-functionally with our Business Development, Analytics, Legal, and Finance teams to best support our customers
- Support account strategy, including identifying new customers, products, and markets
- Deliver compelling presentations to communicate insights, strategies, and progress back to the Leadership Team
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree with 2-3+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, strategy, or similar role at a high-growth company.. Healthcare background is a plus
- Passionate about building things from the ground up, solving complex problems, and creating structure across ambiguous problems
- Demonstrated ability to pull together large data sets and provide innovative and impactful insights through analysis in Excel; financial modeling a plus
- Self starter with a sense of urgency to get things done
- Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, easily adapting to changing priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skill
