Job Description:

Strategy:

  • Consultatively support, retain, and grow customer accounts in conjunction with Sports team and account executives.
  • Identify opportunities, develop new revenue streams and workflows to create efficiencies across all sales and support functions for sports.
  • Acts as gate-keeper in identifying red flags and recommending proactive solutions to mitigate risk.

Pre-Sales:

  • Carry out marketing research and analysis, gathering information from internal subject matter experts on all parts of client proposal.
  • Build pitch presentations
  • Attend prospect and upsell pitch meetings with stakeholders and account executives.

Campaign Activation:

  • Responsible for managing and confirming accurate, timely execution of campaigns.
  • Utilize sales automation systems (CRM, Ticketing, creative workflow) to manage day to day activity and update AE and manager on client performance through system-generated reports and customer dashboard.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with key partners in ad operations, the Revenue Content Team and other departments for fulfillment of all campaigns.
  • Manage communication on deadlines for all campaign assets

Post-Sale:

  • Manage post-sale client communication plan and meeting coordination with account executives.
  • Create and communicate campaign reporting with insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

Specialized Tasks (Events):

  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert regarding all things related to Sports.
  • Resolve platform and campaign issues proactively and expediently; work cross departmentally for issue resolution when needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Passionate about sports from a subject matter perspective
  • Knowledgeable about the sports advertising and activation space.
  • Comfortable with a fast pace.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to new vendors, systems, and software quickly.
  • Occasional need to work weekend hours or after business hours during the week
  • Maintain a strong understanding of assigned accounts and industries as well as advanced product expertise
  • Solid abilities in identifying revenue generating opportunities for existing and new customers
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to close client business.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills including quick response time and accurate issue resolution
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a rapid change, rapid growth environment
  • Strong organizational skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Marketing/Advertising experience of 10 years without degree or
  • BA/BS degree and 6 years OR Master's degree and 4+ years OR PHD and 1 or more years
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Experience with Project Management Software and Salesforce preferred.
  • Understanding of digital media, analytics, and reporting.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
  • Google Analytics certification preferred.
  • Google Ad Manager knowledge preferred.
