West Monroe is currently seeking a talented Senior Manager to lead our Sales Strategy team within our Tech Ex Platforms practice. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading project teams and developing strategies for our clients related to sales effectiveness.Â
Responsibilities:Â Â
Client DeliveryÂ
- Execute transformational projects with a scope of services that includes diagnostics/business cases, channel strategy, sales strategy, sales model and go-to market (GTM) design, sales through service process optimization, sales performance measurement & rewards, sales tool and enablement, and sales culture Â

- Develop data driven, customer-centric segmentation strategies and creating innovative sales and marketing analyticsÂ
- Analyze each client's specific request and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutionsÂ
- Manage client relationships and meet with clients to determine business and functional requirementsÂ
- Mentor and manage teams of Consultants and ManagersÂ
People and Practice DevelopmentÂ
- Be a leader in growing and developing the Sales Strategy teamÂ
- Identify strengths and issues; drive and develop better behavior to create strong ConsultantsÂ
- Participate actively in the recruiting process for other ConsultantsÂ
- Drive the development and enhancement of WMP’s methodologies and approaches to client delivery and provide thought leadership for internal practice developmentÂ
- Coach and manage other consultants and participate actively in the performance expectation process Â
Business DevelopmentÂ
- Participate in business development with prospective clients including pre-sales, estimating, negotiating and project planningÂ
- Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospectsÂ
- Participate in key client relationships and growing those accounts within Customer Experience practice and cross selling to other areas within WMPÂ
Qualifications:Â
- 7+ years of experience working for a consulting firm or as a Sales Operations leader on the industry sideÂ
- Demonstrates proven extensive skills driving improvements in sales efficiency and productivity, including sales channel design, partner management, coverage model design, go-to-market planning, and sales methodology design/deployment (including sales compensation design).Â
- Extensive industry sales and management consulting abilities in sales front office (e.g., sales effectiveness, channel design & partner management, sales process design, organizational design and coverage models, compensation, selling methodologies)Â Â
- Knowledge of sales operations technologies and how they impact the overall sales processÂ
- Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team membersÂ
- Ability to travel to client-site 30-50%Â
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
