Sales Strategy Leader

Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to help develop and drive a multicultural business development and marketing strategy. This position will play a key role in driving business in underserved markets by partnering with key distribution firms. Accountabilities:

• Create the value proposition for Athene products to assist our distribution partners in under-represented markets
• Identify and create avenues to help break into underserved markets; develop programs and tactical solutions to assist our distribution partners
• Work cross-functionally to develop campaign materials and deliverables across our multi-channel distribution network: independent marketing organizations (IMO), Banks, and broker dealers (IBD)
• Drive campaigns through sales organizations to help grow distribution in targeted markets
• Partner to create training programs and initiatives to support internal and external partners
• Research and provide content for marketing campaigns
• Leverage industry tools to analyze market dynamics to inform overall strategy and direction

Qualifications and Experience:

• 8+ years of technical/professional experience
• Strong ability to develop innovative solutions in functional area of expertise, requiring complex decision making
• Demonstrated ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the overall business
• Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a function and negotiates with great latitude on outcomes
• Knowledge of annuity marketplace
• ~25% travel to support conferences and engagements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
