Sales Summer Internship
Job Description

If so, then you may have what it takes to participate in Gas South’s internship program within the Sales organization, supporting the Account Management team.
As the Account Management intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Gas South’s Commercial & Industrial customer base and the Account Management team. This role will have the opportunity to engage with businesses in a variety of markets and industries to facilitate positive customer engagement and smooth processes. This role will also drive process improvements to improve the customer experience and increases in sales efficiency.

A successful candidate for this role is proactive, goal-oriented, and an effective communicator. You have well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners at all levels. You value diversity and build / maintain relationships based on honesty and trust.
Other stuff we like:
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to drive results through others and hold others accountable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong focus on the metrics that drive the business.
More details on what you would be responsible for:
- Communicate with business customers to complete processes and provide account information.
- Creation of reporting for internal stakeholder.
- Takes on projects as assigned for research and documentation.
- Regularly communicates progress, suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
