Sales Support Administrator (Contract to Hire)
Job Description
Our growing company is searching for a Sales Support Administrator who can offer reliable support to the sales team and help improve efficiency as sales volume increases. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining regular contact with customers, ensuring that all sales documents and agreements are completed and accurate before they are filed and updating the customer contact information as needed.
This position may be remote-based or work from our offices in Basildon. This is a fixed-term contract position to begin.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Organise sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines
- Update customer records in the company database as required
- Build a rapport and establish effective relationships with clients
- Take incoming calls and address any enquiries for prospective customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Initiate outbound calls to active customers in order to facilitate quotes or answer any basic procedural questions
- Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time
- Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Account Manager immediately
- Act as primary support resource for the UK sales team to enhance sales quota
- Assist with tradeshow and expo preparations and execution
- Update and enter information of prospective customers into CRM database
- Requirement of up to 25% travel
- Educate clients in the latest transition and evolution of our software solution to demonstrate overall efficiency of product
ABOUT YOU
- Some knowledge of SaaS industry sales preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Quick Books, Outreach, and Word
- Basic understanding of Lightspeed's software offerings and markets
- Comprehension of Sales performance metrics
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven experience in a Sales Administrator or Sales Representative role
- Prior experience with purchasing and collections ideal
- Superb customer service skills
