Purpose of the job

The Sales Support will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the sales team and their clients in order to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. The role involves working closely with the sales team to assist with product information, quotes, order processing, and post-sales support.

Specific responsibilities

• Assist sales team with product information, pricing, and availability
• Provide quotes and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate with clients regarding order status and delivery
• Resolve any issues or concerns that may arise with orders
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient post-sales support
• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment
• Provide data and insights to sales team to help them make data-driven decision
• Attend trade shows and events as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the company's CRM system

Person profile

Education and experience

Essential:

• 1+ years of experience in a commercial support role, preferably in the furniture or design industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• English Skill - Written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Strong knowledge of Herman Miller's products and competitive landscape
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business or marketing is preferred but not required
• Experience with CRM systems
