About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide a superior experience for Commerce Financial Advisor (CFA) clients and administrative support to Financial Advisors.

Essential Functions

  • Answer client and financial advisor calls and execute on requests
  • Build strong relationships with assigned financial advisors, clients and bank partners
  • Prepare new account and maintenance documents for client appointments
  • Place trades as received from the financial advisors or clients when securities licensed
  • Assist with various mailings and campaigns as directed by financial advisors
  • Proactively contact clients or referral prospects to set appointments with financial advisors
  • Maintain efficiency of tasks and priorities to meet expectations and remain compliant
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly and with ease
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong analytical thinking, and an attention to details
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 1+ years experience working with clients, preferably in banking, finance, insurance, or the investment industry required
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required or ability to obtain within one year of starting in position
