Sales Support Representative (M/F/T)

Role summary:

Flowserve is looking for a Sales Support Representative (M/F/T) for the Schaffhausen site at the earliest possible start date. In this role you will be entering orders for pumps, spare parts and pump seals in the SAP system. You are responsible for monitoring them on a continuous basis; you’re also the contact person for our customers from the receipt of the order till the delivery. You will work closely with our workshops, quotation and sales departments.

We are offering you a part-time role with a 20-hour workweek.

Your tasks:

• Entry and deadline monitoring of customer and supplier orders in SAP
• Preparation of order confirmation and invoices
• Daily telephone contact with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring effective communication in a cross-functional role between customers and plants
• Interest in working in a technical manufacturing environment and acquiring knowledge about pumps and pump seals or expanding on existing knowledge
• Managing technical documentation for the orders
• Reliable and responsible behaviour

Your profile:

• Completed commercial or technical basic vocational training
• At least 1 year of experience in the commercial/technical office of the industrial sector
• Solid experience with an ERP system (SAP is an advantage)
• Knowledge of pumps and seals is desirable
• Fluency in written and spoken High German
• Confident written and spoken English knowledge (at least B2)
• Italian and French knowledge is an advantage
• Affinity for dealing with technical products
• Communication and sales-oriented skills for optimal customer contact
• Team-oriented and well-situated personality
