Sales Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to be an integral part of the Sales Team.  This position provides sales support for our Sales Team and Sales Leadership Team. This role will have a wide variety of responsibilities that require operational aptitude and excellent critical thinking skills.  The best candidate will work well independently and with a team; is proactive, motivated and a highly organized contributor with a devotion to problem solving. A strong work ethic, great attitude, and commitment to diving into our fast-paced environment is a must. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this person will support operational needs and ability to scale effectively.  

In this role, you will…

• Triage all incoming emails to the Sales Manager (SM) email address
• Notate the file with the issue if it needs LO attention, and notify the LO
• For all other funding issues, communicate with the appropriate departments
• Respond to lenders with resolutions, fixes and updates
• Funding SM’s Channel
• Monitor and answer requests as they come in
• Make fixes, notify LO’s or request delays as needed
• Review assigned communication channels
• ADD123 Pulls as requested
• Monitor Daily Declines
• Review and resubmit declined applications to new lenders
• Notate resubmission in file
• Monitor MR Pipeline Needs Attention
• Monitor Needs Stip Review Pipeline in Maestro
• Locate and notify on uploaded stips for aging deals
• Help in team communication channels when managers are on PTO
• Help with higher level tasks, capable of completing ad hoc manager tasks and additional ad hoc loan officer tasks as needed.

This role can be based out of Caribou offices in Washington, DC and Denver, CO. Alternatively, this role may work remotely from a state where Caribou operates.

About You

• Minimum 2 years automotive refinance Loan Officer or Manager experience.
• Experience reading and understanding credit reports.
• Strong understanding of lender underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Experience managing pipelines, and moving a high volume of files.
