As a Sales Support Specialist you will help contribute to Life Fitness' industry leading business growth. The Sales Support Specialist will report to the Sales Support Supervisor and be responsible for performing sales support activities to generate and grow additional leads, opportunities, and sales for commercial and vertical direct customers.
**This is a hybrid position based out of our global HQ in Rosemont, IL - remote M/F and in-office T/W/Th**
As the Sales Support Specialist at Life Fitness, you will be responsible for:

• Partner with the field sales team to develop sales proposals and quotes for customers and deliver proposals/quotes in a timely manner with a high degree of quality
• Answer customer questions regarding commercial products, services and solutions
• Work cross-functionally (Credit & Leasing, Order Management, Service, Delivery & Installation, etc.) to ensure that a seamless and superior customer experience is delivered throughout the sales process
• Ensure orders won are submitted for processing with all required documents and signatures
• Provide timely resolution to Credit and/or Leasing issues and holds
• Offer tactical support to the Field Sales team to generate, develop, qualify, and manage new customer acquisition efforts
• Maintain consistent communication with the field sales team regarding current prospects, leads, opportunities and orders
• Investigate and manage resolution of any issues that may impede prompt delivery and successful installation of customer orders
• Enter, update, track and manage customer information within Salesforce.com as requested by sales team
• Assist field sales with customer escalations, including site visits, as requested
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for in you? (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ year experience in sales support
• B2B experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Athletics / Health Club / Fitness Industry / Vertical Markets preferred
• A proven ability to think ahead and work independently with minimal supervision to develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase sales and revenue growth
• Technically savvy, proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel, Word & PowerPoint) is required; prior Salesforce.com and/or Oracle experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Proven ability to work efficiently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
