The role
We are seeking a proactive and charismatic Sales Team Lead to drive the productivity and success of our Sales team.
You will lead by example, actively selling our funding solutions while managing and reaching your individual sales targets. You will also serve as an experienced sales coach, listening to your team live in the office and reviewing recorded calls. By leveraging our established sales process, your own success, and the best practices of your team, you will continuously tweak, improve, and tailor the sales process to achieve or surpass target conversion rates and other performance targets.
Your responsibilities will include creating a high-energy work environment, optimizing sales processes, and delivering commercial performance targets. You will use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and provide regular insights and recommendations.
The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for taking ownership in delivering sales success of our North American market, which is a key part of projected Liberis’ growth in 2023/2024.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead by example and spend 80% of your time actively selling our funding solutions.
- Spend 20% of your time coaching and managing the sales team, actively listening to live and recorded calls.
- Utilize our established sales process, your own success, and best practices from your team to continuously refine and enhance the sales process.
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve or exceed target conversion rates and other performance targets.
- Create a high-energy work environment and foster a culture of growth and development.
- Optimize sales and operational processes based on data and insights.
- Work from our Atlanta office four days a week, overseeing both office-based and remote sales agents.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to advance sales projects.
- Conduct daily stand-ups and ensure accountability of Sales Executives.
- Manage time, workload, and shifting priorities effectively.
- Build rapport with internal teams to foster optimal working relationships and efficiency.
- Generate regular insights and performance data reports for your line manager.
- Provide training to new starters and ongoing training for the existing team.

- Proven sales experience with a track record of success.
- Experience leading a high-intensity team to achieve KPIs and performance targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills over the phone.
- Strong influencing skills in both sales and team leadership capacities.
- Customer-centric mindset with a proactive and action-oriented approach.
- Ownership mentality and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Ability to listen to live and recorded sales calls and provide effective coaching.
- Proficiency in using data and facts to support insights and recommendations.
- Empathy, positive energy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
