About The Team: 

The Revenue Operations team is a strategically focused team responsible for the success and enablement of the sales team,  aligning and optimizing sales and revenue processes in order to drive revenue growth. The team ensures alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success departments by fostering collaboration and communication across these functions. They work together to define shared goals and metrics, ensuring everyone is working towards a common objective. The Revenue Operations team is responsible for global revenue training and enablement, process and automation solutions, and performance and insights.   

About The Role:

As a Sales Tools Administration and Optimization Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving sales efficiency and effectiveness through the administration, management, and optimization of various sales tools and technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team by ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of sales tools, enabling streamlined processes, data accuracy, and enhanced sales productivity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales operations, IT, and sales management, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to maximize the potential of sales tools.  


Primary Objectives:

  • Sales Tools Administration: 
    • Manage and maintain sales tools, including CRM, sales effectiveness platforms, and other sales-related applications.
    • Manage access, license capacity and utilization by tool across the various sales roles.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms by regularly monitoring and cleansing data.
    • Oversee user management, access controls, and permissions within sales tools.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data quality issues, system errors, or inconsistencies.
    • Assist in the integration of new tools and technologies into the existing sales ecosystem.
  • Optimization and Performance Enhancement:
    • Analyze sales tool performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with sales operations to define and document sales processes and workflows.
    • Develop and implement best practices to optimize sales tool utilization and effectiveness.
    • Provide training and support to sales team members on sales tools and their functionalities.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to monitor sales tool usage and effectiveness.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales processes and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track sales tool-related metrics.
  • Collaboration and Project Management:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales operations, IT, and sales management, to understand business requirements and align sales tools accordingly.
    • Manage projects related to sales tool implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
    • Effectively communicate project status, timelines, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management:  
    • Manage the commercial relationship with sales tool vendors and service providers
    • Monitor vendor performance, contract terms, and service level agreements
    • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure vendor alignment with business needs
    • Administer process for order form and renewal review, processing and signature.
  • Tool Evaluation and Selection:
    • Participate in the assessment and evaluation of various sales tool and automation systems
    • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to determine the specific requirements, features, and functionality needed for the sales organization
    • Conduct vendor evaluations and make recommendations for tool selection

What You’ll Be Doing:  

  • Participate in the ongoing evaluation and selection of various sales tools and 
  • Work to optimize sales user effectiveness and efficiency through the application of tools in our sales tech stack, which includes Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Ambition, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn sales Navigator, CaptivateIQ and Calendly.
  • Support the migration of our existing sales tools from a multi-org Salesforce architecture to a single Salesforce org environment. 
  • Ensure correct data capture and hygiene across our various tools
  • Look for opportunities to increase seller productivity through process  / automation improvements


What We Are Looking For:          
                             

  • Experience in a sales at a tech company 
  • Power user or administrator - level skills on tools in our tech stack.
  • Strong understanding of how sales tools integrate to drive sales efficiency
  • Understanding of sales processes and how they can be automated 
  • Natural curiosity of how automation can solve everyday business challenges

What will Make You Stand Out:                                                    

  • Technology certifications
  • Prior experience in sales or sales development roles
  • Experience with existing tech stack and niche sales automation tools including tools for data governance
  • Demonstrated experience improving seller efficiency through automation and technology 
                                             

The Tech:                                      

  • Strong experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud), including sales-supporting functionality such as Sales Engagement, Territory Management, Collaborative Forecasting and Pipeline Inspection.
  • Strong experience with ecosystem tools integrated with Salesforce (Gong, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Ambition, 6Sense, Zendesk)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.

  • Less than 5%
