Position Title: Sales Tools & Solutions Manager

Reports To: Director, Digital Solutions KSB North America

Position Summary:

As a crucial part of KSB North America's growth strategy implementation, the Sales Tools & Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy, growth, and profitability of sales tools within the region of North America, driving the sales of pumps, valves, parts and service solutions. This role involves managing day-to-day operations and product development of implemented tools, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across all markets to drive success and market leadership.

This is the first-time implementation of advanced sales software, offering a unique opportunity to fundamentally shape systems, user experience, and overall value delivered. Starting with a sales software to seamlessly configure, price, and quote (CPQ) KSB standard products and parts. The Sales Solutions Manager will simplify the buying experience, speed up complex deal closures, and generate accurate quotes swiftly. Hereby, the Sales Solutions Manager enhances customer satisfaction and elevates sales performance. Location: Richmond, VA – United States (Remote/Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualizes and designs the overall CPQ software for the region North America, and manages the system's ongoing operation and development.

  • Creates project plans for the initial and further releases, manages timelines from ideation to launch, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Works with Product Managers to incorporate products, implement pricing rules and discount controls to protect the KSB margin

  • Coordinates data entry and frontend development with internal and external resources, and ensures with IT the software is optimized for performance, scalability, and IT security.

  • Ensures close collaboration with the customer suite manager to secure seamless integration in the customer portal and ensures the tool experience is user-friendly, accurate, and efficient.

  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales teams, and customers to align and prioritize feature requests based on business objectives and customer feedback.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the tool and overall business performance to identify areas for improvement, presenting regular reports to management on tool performance, usage metrics, and business impact.

  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for internal teams and customers to increase awareness and utilization of the software. 

  • Leverage artificial intelligence and data mining within the CPQ solution to optimize pricing strategies, provide personalized product recommendations, and enhance cross-sell and upsell opportunities, with pre-configured bundles, and guided selling by analyzing historical data and market trends.

  • Integrate the tool with CRM platforms, ERP programs, and other business technology, which helps ensure integrated data flows, accuracy and eliminates redundant work within the sales process.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices, market trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and innovations in CPQ development and digital solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Following the implementation of the CPQ solution, the Sales Solutions Manager will design and implement additional sales software tools to further enhance sales processes and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in engineering, business engineering with strong IT affinity, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in delivering technology solutions in sales, Ecommerce, sales operations or a related field.

  • Knowledge of software development, including data entry, frontend development, IT security, and integration of sales software solutions with CRM and ERP systems.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and organization skills (PMP or Scrum certification desired).

  • Strong understanding of data correlation and data modeling, including how to build data models that are feasible and support business objectives.

  • Excellent understanding of sales processes, and experience within the pump industry or similar manufacturing or industrial sectors and used sales tools and technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during the development and implementation of technology solutions.

  • Able to work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
