We are looking for a dynamic Sales Trainer to join our team! We are seeking someone with a strong logistics background and a passion for teaching and coaching others. If you geek out on adult learning methodologies, using data to build effective training solutions, and developing interactive training experiences, then this role is for you!
The Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating comprehensive sales training programs for our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight brokerage sales and a passion for coaching and developing others

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
- Develop and implement sales training programs for all Digital Brokerage sales hires
- Collaborate with Sales and Logistics Operations Leaders to drive accountability for training across the org
- Build and maintain relationships cross-functionally with leaders, key contributors and support teams as need be
- Utilize Litmos (LMS) to build and drive utilization and adoption of tool
- Create interactive and comprehensive content and curriculum for all current and new sales and logistics ops representatives and their development initiatives
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and metrics to determine performance gaps, identify opportunities and priorities, and recommend training
- Act as a subject matter expert on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and freight industry regulations
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to sales representatives to help them achieve their targets and KPIs
- Participate in the hiring process with our People team and hiring managers as we onboard new sales representatives
- Track and leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of sales training efforts
- Utilize various training methodologies, including classroom training, workshops, online modules, and on-the-job coaching
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience in learning and development for high-growth sales teams within the logistics industry
- Proven track record with developing curriculum and delivering live, virtual, and blended learning curriculums
- Strong presentation skills are required
- Proven experience with different sales methodologies and sales training as well as past sales experience
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills Ability to assess and analyze current and future training needs
- Ability to develop training strategies/programs and to evaluate the effectiveness of such programsKnowledge of Salesforce & Salesloft is a plus
