SALES & USE TAX MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Coordinate, plan and manage the sales and use taxes for the company. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate, plan and manage sales and use tax audits performed by various states with the objective to minimize tax assessments
- Coordinate, plan and manage refund reviews concerning sales and use tax
- Represent the company at audit negotiations, tax hearings and appeals
- Consult with divisions and regional accounting centers on complex tax issues
- Travel for negotiations and audits
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree accounting or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate and maintain professionalism in working with contacts outside the department and company
- Knowledge of Business Objects and FOCUS application software

- Position in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Audit function within company
- CPA and/or MBA
