Salesforce Administrator
Job Description
The Salesforce Administrator provides value to the business by automating complex business processes, making sure the system is clean and efficient, and monitoring new releases. This person is the Salesforce Subject Matter Expert within the organization and is required to have an in-depth understanding of platform customization. The role is very hands-on and takes both a detailed and strategic view of the platform. Candidate will be a member of multiple project teams for complex projects.
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for defining and delivering all ongoing Salesforce enhancements and projects and user support, which includes prioritizing the backlog of feature requests from the business. This position ensures Salesforce process documentation is developed and continually updated.
Responsibilities:
- Design and configure custom objects, profiles, roles, visual flows, workflows, custom fields, validation rules, and page layouts
- Manage duplicate data, data aging, accuracy, and ensure completeness of active data in the system
- Ensure data backups are running
- Works with business stakeholders to develop requirements for various initiatives, document those requirements, and build an implementation plan
- Assist end users with Salesforce.com user setup, training, configuration, and troubleshooting based on Salesforce and industry best practices
- Handle intake, review, and coordination of new incoming requests, including report and dashboard design and management to monitor data
- Track and communicate expectations and progress updates to customers while managing expectations using Freshdesk, Outlook, and Teams
- Handles independently with minimal guidance on the ongoing administration (including design and configuration) of applications and interfaces from Salesforce to existing applications and data sources
- Analyze requirements, test and integrate application components, and ensure that system improvements are done accurately with the highest quality
 Requirements
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Administrator Certification
- 3+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience in a digital environment, preferably in the Professional Services industry
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong understanding of business processes, how to leverage standard system capabilities to support them, and the ability to translate technical requirements to business stakeholders
- Experience administering marketing automation systems like HubSpot
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field considered a plus
- Experience developing Microsoft Power BI reports considered a plus
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate considered a plus
