Job Description

Responsible for administration, optimization and utilization of Salesforce.com, including implementing programs, generating reports and dashboards, creating and training of users, streamlining workflows, and optimizing overall usage to increase user adoption. Will be responsible for communicating the feature set of Salesforce to the Executive Management Team and the Sales and Marketing leaders as well as function as the interface between the sales, marketing and support and the technical staff.

Professional Qualifications

Education

  • Associate or higher degree in Business, Office Administration, or a related degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience administering and configuring Salesforce.com.
  • Salesforce certification.
  • Experience with Boomi or similar integration tool is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Salesforce development is a plus but not required.

General

  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work well with all levels of the organization.
  • Possess and use tact, discretion, initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. High ethics, integrity, honesty, and patience.
  • Ability to blend technical, operational, sales and marketing requirements into a well-run CRM system.
  • Ability to train individuals on the use of CRM.
  • Ability to handle confidential and privileged material with discretion and professionalism while maintaining a high loyalty to LI-COR.

Position Responsibilities

  • Drive and implement Salesforce best practices
  • Recommend and implement approved solutions within Salesforce.com
  • Gather user requirements and create a plan to implement
  • Configure Salesforce to improve the overall use of the application
  • Manage the Salesforce CRM application and add-ons (Demand Tools, Conga, OwnBackup, Boomi)
  • Maintain and improve a Salesforce Partner community for Env Distributors
  • Maintain and implement user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
  • Work with Salesforce.com Premier support to troubleshoot any issues with functionality or performance
  • Design business processes, data transfer and cleansing, report/dashboard design, user training, and documentation.
  • Assist with the integration of Salesforce.com with external systems as required.
  • Maintain system metrics to track trends and data integrity.
