The Role:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of Salesforce for all stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and all other internal teams utilizing the platform. Acting as the liaison between various internal groups, the SF Administrator will be responsible for managing the Salesforce environments (production and sandbox), supporting Salesforce-based applications, troubleshooting, and working with GTMBA and end-users to ensure that the application meets the needs of the business and keeps pace with any changes in operational requirements, policies and/or procedures.
What You’ll Do:
This role will be working on a team to migrate users to Lightning experience. As part of these efforts there are some security remediation required. This role will work with another internal administrator, GTMBA, EA BA, business stakeholders and process owners to determine the steps required for each team and action those requirements. Each team will be trained on the new UI by the Sales Enablement team.
- Custom and implement profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, custom applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, dashboards, and reports where necessary related to assigned projects
- Analysis of current security settings, profiles, or gathered information to identify necessary changes to existing configuration or creating new profiles where necessary
- Implement profile changes, permission set(s), permission set groups, etc. where appropriate
- Testing and updating configuration on Lightning page layouts
- Identifying any actions needed to be completed by the dev team or action those items if skill set permits (i.e., converting JavaScript buttons)
- Push changes through environments with CI/CD tools
- Attend and participate in meetings with stakeholders and process owners to provide guidance and advice on options available in Lightning
- Assist with testing team processes (i.e. lead conversions) to determine if Lightning ready
- Possibly create documentation on processes related to assigned projects
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales and/or marketing environment with a working knowledge of sales and marketing processes, such as in-depth knowledge of CRM systems and strategies
- Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to support business processes
- Proven experience / expertise with SF security models and best practices
- CI/CD Tools / change set process
- Advanced Lightning Skills
