Salesforce Architect

As a Salesforce Architect at TCP Software you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical needs. They typically act as technical leads for Salesforce projects, collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to ensure successful deployments. Here's a breakdown of the common responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required for a Salesforce Architect role:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:
• Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions to meet business objectives.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and efficient Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
• Develop enterprise-level strategies for integrating Salesforce with other systems (ERP, CRM, Marketing Automation, etc.).
2. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.
3. Solution Implementation:
• Oversee and guide the development, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
• Lead a team of Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure that the solution meets the architectural guidelines.
• Ensure best practices in Salesforce architecture and development are followed.
4. Integration and Customization:
• Lead efforts to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
• Customize Salesforce applications using Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning Components.
5. Governance and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce Salesforce governance policies and best practices for data integrity, security, and system performance.
• Ensure that Salesforce implementations comply with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
6. Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership to Salesforce development teams, and mentor junior developers.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business users.
7. Performance Optimization:
• Ensure high performance and scalability of Salesforce implementations.
• Optimize data models, workflows, and automation processes for efficiency.
8. Documentation and Training:
• Prepare technical documentation, solution blueprints, and architectural diagrams.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams on Salesforce best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications:
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (desired)
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect
• Salesforce Certified System Architect
• Other certifications like Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Certified Admin, etc.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development/architecture experience.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for large enterprises.
• Experience in leading and mentoring Salesforce development teams.
