Salesforce Business Analyst

This person will be able to work remotely with occasional visits to our Portsmouth, NH office to work. Person should be within driving distance of Portsmouth, NH

We are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to innovate, win, and grow with us! The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business needs and the solutions provided by our IT department and external vendors. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce admins, the development team, consultants, and report into a Sr. Director of Enterprise Business Systems. 

Position Summary:

Bottomline leverages multiple instances of Salesforce to manage various aspects of the lead-to-cash process, ranging from marketing, sales, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), onboarding, professional services, and support. As we embark on a multi-year project roadmap, we are seeking a world-class Business Analyst who can effectively translate business needs into requirements, gain domain expertise, and actively participate in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for our CRM projects.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Gather and document business requirements from various stakeholders across the organization.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business processes and Salesforce instances across marketing, sales, CPQ, onboarding, professional services, and support.
• Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of CRM projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure the requirements are clear, complete, and understood by all parties.
• Develop user stories, use cases, and functional specifications as required.
• Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the organization and develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to the IT team and other stakeholders.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the requirements are met.
• Help in the development and delivery of end-user training.
• Provide post-implementation support and analysis.

What will make you successful:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years of experience working with Salesforce CRM
• Strong understanding of the lead-to-cash process
• Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into requirements and actively participating in the SDLC.
• Experience in creating user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification is a plus.
