Summary
Provides technical development leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining the Salesforce ecosystems, aligned with Architecture and implementation best practices. This includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Field Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
- Understands and consistently applies current application development methodology attributes and processes.
- Collaborates, defines, and maintains effective and efficient development processes, including but not limited to coding standards, design philosophy, testing methodology, usage of design patterns, UI standards, development, and coding tools and procedures.
- Ensures new enhancement requests are groomed and all scenarios are called out and clarified before story is picked for development.
- Develops optimal solutions keeping the user needs, system performance, maintainability, and scalability in mind.
- Strong in Lightning Flows and abreast with latest salesforce capabilities.
- Strong in Lightning Web components and Aura components.
- Experienced in optimizing queries by making proper use of indexes and skinny tables.
- In-depth review of development done by peers and provides effective feedback.
- Writes scenario-based test classes to help automated testing of the code developed.
- Provides timely assistance to production support team.
- Participates in the estimation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Assists in training of new users, and grows the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
- Effectively acts as the liaison between users and the application development teams.
- Ensures every development task is properly documented using design documents and flow diagrams.
- Works with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will impact business processes.
- Prepares detailed flow charts, diagrams, and other architectural documentation outlining system capabilities and processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Four-year degree or equivalent
Experience: 7+ years
- 5-7 years of Object-Oriented software development experience
- 5 years developing in the APEX language including Classes and Triggers
- 5 years doing front end development using Force.com
- 5 years performing deployments from Sandbox environments all the way to Production
- Minimum 5 years developing on Sales and Service Clouds
- Preferred experience in leading design and solutions with Architecture for Salesforce implementations
- Preferred Copado experience

- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to support and build custom apps.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories in own discipline, and broad knowledge of principles and concepts of other functions.
