Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Architect 18+ years experience required
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite 3 days per week)
Domain Experience: Must have prior experience with U.S./U.K. clients
Must-Have Certifications: CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer II, and at least 2 Architect certifications
Key Skills:
Salesforce Automation Tool, CPQ, and Apex
9+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 2+ years with CPQ/SteelBrick
Strong experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning (Aura framework & LWC)
Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Administration, Configuration, and Customization
Experience in CI/CD processes and Agile methodology
Experience in Salesforce Data Modeling and Integrating Salesforce with external systems (SOAP/REST API)
Expertise in Visualforce, Apex Triggers, SOQL, and JavaScript
Knowledge of Salesforce coding best practices, including unit testing and deployment
Responsibilities:
Architect and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions
Design CPQ implementations, including Product Features, Pricing Rules, Quote templates, and Approval Processes
Lead technical solutioning, evaluate configuration vs. coding
Engage with stakeholders to demonstrate CPQ capabilities
Manage teams, handle deployment, and troubleshoot errors
Good to Have:
Experience migrating from non-Salesforce CPQ systems
Knowledge of Java/.Net platforms, HTML5, CSS, and other JavaScript frameworks
