Salesforce Developer

The Role

As a member of the Salesforce scrum, you will work closely with your team to design and implement new features and products. You will learn everything about MarketAxess allowing you to fully understand the “big picture” of not only what you are developing, but how it benefits our internal and external stakeholders. At the same time, you will be challenged and pushed out of your comfort zone, by learning new and exciting technologies that we want to implement here at MarketAxess. Above all, you will be empowered by having a voice within your Scrum team as well as within MarketAxess as a whole

How You’ll Help Take Us There

• Manage Salesforce user access rights 
• Build Report and Dashboards for teams across the firm 
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues 
• Assist with builds and testing for all projects in backlog 
• Document new & changes to existing requirements 
• Assist with data reconciliation and migration 
• Assist with Training end user teams 
• Develop and manage training material 
• Provide Coverage during non-work hours and weekends when necessary 

What We're Looking for 

• Candidate must be comfortable with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript, JQuery)
• 1-3 years of experience Salesforce Software Engineering Skills - Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Aura framework & UI designing web-pages
• Hands on experience on LDS components and lightning app builder
• In depth understanding of SFDC Profiles / Roles and Sharing Rules , Validation Rules , Tasks , Workflow rules , Triggers , Process Builder etc.
• Candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Salesforce application development
• Experience with web services - REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
• Strong fundamentals in SFDC database with SOQL & SOSL
• In depth understanding of SFDC Profiles / Roles and Sharing Rules , Validation Rules , Tasks , Workflow rules , Triggers , Process Builder etc.
• Experience with the Salesforce.com APEX data loader, Salesforce.com web services APIs
• Familiarity with Service Cloud Console, Tableau, Mulesoft and Marketing Cloud is a plus
• Certified in SFDC would be preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
