Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Salesforce Developer II will be part of the Dealer Services business team providing business application solutions to enhance dealers' experience while doing business with GM Financial. Day to day activities will involve developing on the Salesforce.com platform, creating VisualForce Pages/Apex Classes and providing technical documentation. Responsibilities also include researching and implementing new technology solutions not necessarily limited to the Salesforce.com platform. The Salesforce Developer II is expected to perform day to day activities while staying in compliance according to corporate standards and maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Lead team in activities related to the data portion of GM protections business collaborating with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with all key stakeholders to deliver world-class technology platforms and high-quality data driven solutions, meeting business needs
• Communicate with users to plan, develop, improve, and maintain complex components of the logical/physical corporate data model
• Work fluently in different styles of data modeling as needed, including Cloud, Dimensional (Star Schema), streaming, etc.
• Develop and document data migration mappings and transformations for accurate and efficient loading of the Data Lake House which effectively meet the needs of downstream data consumers (Business Intelligence tools, ad-hoc analysis, deep analytics, etc)
• Current with emerging technologies and their impact on data architecture.
• Knowledge of agile practices as they relate to data (SAFe preferred)

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or 5-7 years of web design and development required
• 3-5 years of object oriented programming experience required
• Salesforce experience required
• 3-5 years of web development preferred
• Computer Science or Management Information experience preferred
