Job Description

Rockwell Automation is looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining highly scalable CI/CA solutions on the Salesforce platform. This process includes continuous integration, continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support the end-to-end release process. As a member of the team, you will work alongside Software Engineers to ensure all updates to the Salesforce platform seamlessly move from development through staging and into production for all Salesforce based applications. The candidate must have experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CA solutions in distributed teams' environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile methodology environment.
• Responsible for driving operational excellence in strategies for continuous
• integration and continuous delivery of Salesforce.
• Operate, support, and improve the organization capabilities for continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and release management.
• Drive increased efficiency across Rockwall Automation agile framework, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse through continues integration and automation.
• After setting up the CI/CA process, the candidate should be able to document and advocate adoption of the new framework working with Rockwell Automation's implementation partners.
• Design and configure the necessary integration for this list of tools (SFDX, Gitlab, Visual Studio, Jenkins, Control-M, MuleSoft, Ant, Sourcetree and Kubernetes).
• Setup and continue to develop and improve our monitoring and dashboards for the Salesforce platform.
• Setup incidents and outages SLA, response matrix and escalation within the Salesforce platform and handle production support.
• Design and Integrate Salesforce using middleware with SOAP/REST

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum 5+ years of Salesforce's CI/CD setup and support
• Deep design, application architecture and product development expertise with CI/CD background
• Strong Gitlab experience with complex branching strategy
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (Metadata, Tooling, Enterprise, Partner, Bulk)
• Familiar with Salesforce Integration patterns.
• Experience with Salesforce Managed and Second-Generation Packages
• Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, MuleSoft, workbench, etc)
• Experience with Jenkins with JAVA and/or Shell scripting languages
• Solid understanding of Salesforce.com architecture and Metadata API
• Salesforce Admin Certified, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer Certification preferred.
