We are looking for an exceptional Salesforce Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will also be responsible to:
Provide on-going systems and technical support for Salesforce
Execute project lifecycle – which includes development, testing, review, deployment – to implement feature configurations and customizations of Salesforce to meet evolving business and operational needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
Apex classes and triggers
Visualforce pages and components
Managed packages
Report types
Custom objects and fields
Flows
Approval processes
Page layouts
Record Types
Profile permissions, permission sets, sharing rules, organization-wide defaults
Validation Rules
Custom buttons, links, widgets
Maintain security and integrity of the company’s Salesforce instance through the implementation of proper governance and permissions
Ensure optimal performance in the Salesforce instance through the implementation of scalable solutions, in line with industry best practices
Troubleshoot and fix Salesforce errors raised by the business
Be the Salesforce SME (subject matter expert) and guide users in executing operations in Salesforce – e.g. reassigning records, creating new records
Create business and technical documentation – customizations, workflows, and business processes – and keep all documentation up to date
Monitor Salesforce new release features and review for potential impact to existing Salesforce configuration, as well as potential benefits for the business
3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
Salesforce Administrator and Developer Certification preferred
Experience with supporting Go-to-Market departments preferred (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner Channel)
Experience in agile development preferred
Knowledge in Apex, especially batch, and SOQL
Experience with integrating third-party applications with Salesforce
Proficient in custom record types, fields, roles and permissions, page layouts, reports, and Salesforce data model
Effective technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
Can confidently provide support and user training across departments
Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment that places a strong premium on integrity, excellence, execution and teamwork
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Can exercise strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
Exceptional team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Keen to learn new applications and software
Growth mindset, ability to iterate, and design-thinking approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
