Job Description
Tech Firefly is teaming up with a national financial services company to hire a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.
12+ months contract position
No C2C. Must be able to work on W2.
Location: Must be able to work hybrid on-site in Austin, TX or Westlake, TX
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer you will be responsible for:
- Figuring out solutions to complex business and system requirements, meeting the needs of users.
- Creating and developing solutions on the Salesforce Marketing platform while integrating with backend systems. You'll work closely with our development, product teams, and architects.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Working together with business partners to address issues.
- Collaborating with application and data developers on designs and models for best-in-class implementation.
- Engaging with experts from various support organizations and business groups
- Being part of Agile teams that focus on delivering what our clients need.
- Partnering with production support and campaign management teams to resolve any issues and ensure 24x7 system availability.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Salesforce platform features, gained through Salesforce development work.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and all channel applications (email, social, SMS) within the platform.
- Knowledge or basic experience in Salesforce Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, Visualforce, Apex code, and batch.
- Familiarity with Salesforce synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Basic experience in Salesforce Lightning.
- Familiarity with databases and experience working with enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Teradata, Big Data), SQL ETL scripting, SOAP/REST interfaces, stored procedures, MapR, and Kafka.
- Experience in Java/J2EE technology stack and distributed computing.
- Experience in automated build deployment using Jenkins, Bamboo.
- Knowledge or basic experience in CI/CD.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools.
- Basic experience in Agile development.
The Following Skills and Experience Are a Plus and Will Set You Apart:
- Previous experience in the financial industry.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, or Platform certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to campaign analytical tools (e.g., interaction & campaign studio).
- Familiarity with the implementation of Einstein.
- Familiarity with SFDC to SFMC Cloud connectors.
