Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Under general direction, designs and builds cloud applications using cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS), database query languages, and web programming languages.
• Solves complex problems based on expertise with designing cloud solution. Interacts with business customers to formulate and define system scope and objectives.
• Conducts data modeling, configuration, specification development, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Conducts cloud capacity planning.
• Applies best practices in security for cloud applications.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Public and Private Cloud Platforms deployment of applications (AWS, Azure, Cloudera, etc.).
• Broad knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, Java, J2EE, Spring, Python, Perl and PHP.
• Understanding of web services and APIs like RESTful and SOAP.
• Knows Agile practices for development.
• Knows design patterns, UML, and object- oriented programming.
• Experience handling database schemas in source code.
• Thorough understanding of security for cloud applications, cloud capacity planning, notification, monitoring, and logging.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff, as well as business management.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $100,000 - $125,000 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education
