Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Enable key initiatives:
- Collaborates with internal and external business partners providing input in identifying and affecting product demand and assists in driving the product backlog prioritization and leverage industry best practices.
- Assists the Product Owner with the management of communications and status reporting of ongoing initiatives, including summarizing project risks and options and facilitating prompt decisions when needed.
- Assists the Product Owner with the supports on the definition of the overall Salesforce product strategy and technology roadmap to drive P&L goals for specific Sales capabilities.
- Assists the Product Owner by working with the Program Delivery team to formulate costs and funding requests, proposals.
- Assists the Product Owner with analysis on data, analytics and end-to-end consideration at all times.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders and technology teams to enable solutions:
- Works directly with business stakeholders to understand business needs and communicates them effectively to the scrum team. Translates business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Is part of the scrum team, working closely with their scrum master to ensure that product features are understood and aligns with the business stakeholder expectations.
- Attends agile ceremonies (i.e. planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, iteration reviews) and other team meetings in order to provide necessary guidance on the ask.
- Supports the team by being available to provide clarity required to complete detailed user stories.
- Effectively compiles and documents business needs into features necessary for systems design, development, and implementation.
- Assists the Product Owner with the business activities (training) required to support agile initiatives on an on-going basis.
Identify opportunities and champion best-in-class business transformation and innovation:
- Works closely with internal/external leads and partners to ensure execution quality and success.
- Ability to work on large-scale initiatives and effectively partner with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements and business process design.
- Continually acquires and enhances knowledge of both the Bank's and the Sales Division's business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, back-office processes, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions, services and support to the end user business lines.
- Works with technology partners on architecture reviews and ensures solutions are aligned (build-once, multiple re-use) and escalates on any misalignment.
- Maintains an understanding of financial services markets, the competitive landscape and client/user needs and requirements.
- Assists with quality assurance testing prior to any release and works with users to facilitate UAT, if needed.
- Provides user base training to new users on the system and becomes familiar with any new Salesforce features rolled-out through the Salesforce quarterly releases.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or computer related major preferred MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years direct relevant working experience in the financial sector
- 4+ years of experience in product analysis
- In depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms with demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution at scale in a cross line of business or enterprise environment
- Salesforce development experience preferred
- Tableau development experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
- 4+ years direct experience within an agile framework and Jira experience is preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Industry certifications such as SAFe, CSM are preferred
