Please Note: This position allows remote work from home but will require travel to our Voya office as business requires. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius from your assigned office location (AZ, MN, MA, GA, NY and CT)
Profile Summary:
The CRM Product Manager will establish and manage the strategic Distribution Enablement Platform roadmap and work with stakeholders in Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment of the tech stack and roadmap to Voya Investment Management's (IM) business strategy and business user needs. The CRM Product Manager represents the "voice of the user" by ensuring that the prioritized work provides value-add for the team. This role reports to the Head of Distribution Enablement and will create and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs that align to the Firm's strategic goals and priorities.
Our Product Managers wear many hats on their projects and are responsible for everything from requirements gathering and testing, to training and post deployment support. As a Product Manager, you will work alongside the business analysts, scrum masters, and developers to design, develop, and deploy enterprise solutions all while learning and growing your skill set. In addition to supporting Salesforce, this role will also partner with Product Managers for Marketing Cloud and Seismic to ensure effective integration. This is a critical role in the agile model.
Profile Description:
- Works closely with the Head of Distribution Enablement to maximize the value of delivered products to ensure they meet stakeholders' needs
- Interact daily with business units and business owners to understand business processes and key requirements, proactively work to resolve client issues
- Act as decision maker on daily scrum calls and sprint planning to drive effective requirements to align to business use cases
- Be the SME on all tools within the Enablement platform
- Act as liaison between business units and development teams on all areas of support and enhancements
- Lead the analysis and business requirements gathering to develop detailed functional requirements, clearly stating project scope
- Works with the team to breakdown capabilities and/or value streams into backlog items (epics, stories, etc.) and prioritizes backlog for the team
- Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
- Create user groups to be technology advocates and inform creation and prioritization of work
- Train users in the benefits of using the product and create training program for consistent onboarding of new users
- Participate in industry groups and forums to identify best-in-class solutions
Knowledge & Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience as a product owner/manager or Salesforce administrator
- Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM products) to develop client or business solutions
- Previous management experience preferred
- Strong ability to represent and document business processes, interaction flows, data flow processes, use cases, test cases, business requirements, functional requirements, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Agile solution development methodologies
- Effective in managing multiple parallel work streams and initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed, organized, and results-oriented
- Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
- Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Salesforce Admin Certification preferred (or other demonstration of in-depth Salesforce knowledge)
- Experience with marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Seismic)
- Understanding of financial services industry, ideally asset management
