Salesforce Security Engineer

This position supports the Silotech Group Salesforce practice to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. This role may have you work on current existing projects, internal and external, and future projects as awarded.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

• The Senior Developer will have extensive experience leading/contributing to design, development, and administration on Salesforce platform projects from end to end, including identifying and using OOTB marketplace plugins rather than developing code.
• Works closely with the Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager (FPM), and Federal Technical and other stakeholders to fully understand the functional and technical requirements in case management.
• Utilize tools and/or applications (like Flosum, Checkmarx, Mulesoft) to enhance security posture on Salesforce platforms
• Ensure any code is tested and passes FedRamp compliance requirements
• Uses best security practices while evaluating team's configuration changes to salesforce org
• Actively participates and provides inputs in major design decisions working with Architects
• Works with Business Analysts, SME's, product owners, customers and end-users to understand their mission, current architecture, security requirements and deliverables
• Works with the team to build a design (including data/object & process models) that will scale to meet evolving, enterprise, and future state needs with a focus on the project release goals
• Designs and develops the system to set the standard for future development, craft an architecture that smoothly works with existing infrastructure without compromising security; and
• Identifies and introduces new opportunities to build platform-based solutions to help the users meet their toughest challenges.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related field is desired

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on full stack experience as team lead supporting architects, leading teams, and developing solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies preferably in federal space.
• 3 years of Salesforce experience
• Identifying marketplace plugins and/or designing/developing custom connectors as needed
• Designing, implementing, and integrating Salesforce with federal systems (on-premise, cloud)

Certification

Must have relevant Salesforce certification such as:

• Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce Developer
• Salesforce Architect
• Salesforce Consultant
• Agile/SAFe and other related certifications
