The Salesforce Senior Solution Architect will act as a systems solution designer and architect for Salesforce at GumGum. They will manage the existing SFDC org, lead the end-to-end delivery process, and enhance and design new solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a Salesforce CRM and developing solutions. Other relevant experience desired would include, but is not limited to helping companies troubleshoot existing Salesforce needs, optimizing Salesforce for scale, helping support integration & automation solutions. This critical role will help GumGum achieve its goals of increased automation throughout the entire sales cycle, efficiency, enhanced Reporting, data Stability and data Integrity in Salesforce.

Note: GumGum currently operates in a âwork from homeâ virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events (health guidelines permitting). There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward. GumGum is only open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and MN.
What You'll Achieve
- Build and maintain Salesforce solutions in collaboration with SFDC developer and admin
- Own technical design of the Salesforce system and ensure the org can scale as functionality grows
- Institute long term documentation and knowledge base around Gumgumâs SFDC org including Salesforce data dictionary
- Manage Salesforce end-to-end delivery process including initial review, prioritization of requests, UAT and production releases ensuring maximum impact to the business
- Implement data governance best practices to ensure SFDC data & taxonomy integrity
- Partner with stakeholders and leaders to develop Salesforce roadmap and long term strategies for process improvement and automation within Salesforce
- Offer strategic guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams in the organization that impact or are impacted by Salesforce
- Become an expert in GumGum business processes and priorities that have Salesforce system touchpoints
- Assist in cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document and analyze business requirements and functional specifications. Includes identifying unspoken, conflicting, or dependent requirements
- Support the Sales & Finance teams during month-end, quarter-end and year-end process with the âProgrammatic Actualizationâ exercise
- Manage vendor relationships and system integration engagements
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on project status and risk mitigation
- Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and success of completed projects
Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience; emphasis in business, computer science or related field
- 8-10+ years of experience in a Business environment
- 6+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce acting as SME and trusted partner to stakeholders
- 6+ years in developing and executing against holistic salesforce system roadmaps
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC administrator and/or Salesforce architect certification required)
- Experience managing projects from requirements gathering to production deployment
- Strong understanding of integration best practices
- Experience developing processes for writing BRDâs, Functional & Technical Specifications and UAT scripts within internal teams
- Experience around quote to cash processes and related tools including CPQ
- Proficiency analyzing and transforming high volumes of data using spreadsheetsÂ
- Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
- Experience working with a distributed team across time zones
- Implementation experience including issue management, prioritization and resolution, and change management
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest and acumen in understanding business concepts and models
- Able to exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgment and self awareness
