Brakes – A Sysco Company, are now recruiting for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join the Technology team on a full time, permanent basis, acting as a technical expert for the Salesforce solution, working across multiple projects, providing solutions that fulfil stakeholder requirements and delivering to the highest standard. The role will be expected to work across Europe, to help define and shape the Salesforce solution in line with the roadmap balancing both local in-country and European needs, ensuring continual alignment with the global Salesforce development team.

Reporting to the Solution Lead, this is an essential role that requires the ability to partner with the Salesforce product team taking business requirements into robust technical analysis and delivery solution. You’ll translate functional and non-functional requirements into technology solutions and be aligned to Salesforce CRM, this role is accountable for the definition, governance, and documentation of Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service and Marketing), translating business capability needs into coherent Salesforce solutions. You’ll be acting as a technical expert for the Salesforce solution, working across multiple projects, providing solutions that fulfil stakeholder requirements and delivering to the highest standard.

This is a home-based role, however occasional travel across our GB depot network and Europe will be required.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Input to the development of the Salesforce roadmap alongside the Salesforce product team
• Documentation and maintenance of Salesforce solution landscapes, outlines, and designs
• Attendance at Technical Design Authority (TDA), Cyber Security reviews and Change Management Boards (CAB) where required ensuring agreed actions are addressed in a timely manner
• Establish and adopt standardised design documentation
• Support SA community with coaching required to improve overall capability
• Implement architecture process improvements based on feedback / lessons learnt from the wider Technology team

About you:

You’ll be currently working as a Solution Architect and have experience of leading Salesforce solution selection and design including IT policies, data protection, security and licensing agreements. A knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks is essential. Experience of creating architectural design documentation utilizing both architectural software and generic software tools is essential. An excellent understanding of data integration standards and technologies is required, including ‘Salesforce Service, Sales and Marketing Cloud’ Were looking for someone who can communicate effectively across levels of the organization and communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues with the confidence and ability to cope with ambiguity and diversity. Experience of integration middleware layers, microservices, REST API’s, ETL and event streaming is also required.
