Salesforce System Administrator
Job Description
Introduction:
The CRM Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the organization's Salesforce environment and will serve as the point of contact for Salesforce issue management and reporting needs for the Company. The Systems Administrator works with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and improvement opportunities, translate priorities and execute on solution delivery. This person will also work closely with other Salesforce Administrators within the organization to make sure that solutions align
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc. Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes and "how-to" assistance. Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk ticketing for advanced issue resolution
- Meet with stakeholders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment. Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality.
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities. Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders. Provide Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
Required Skills:
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud
- Experience implementing Salesforce configurations changes as well as change management and governance
- Excellent communications skills. Must have the ability to create technical documentation as well as training for end users and key stakeholders
- Ability to successfully manage change and navigate positively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals; ability to use project management tools and participate effectively in a structured project management environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
- Active in the Salesforce community
