The Salesforce System Administrator will be part of an agile business systems team accountable for designing, building, and maintaining functionality within the Pie Insurance Salesforce instance. This individual will work cross-functionally with members of both technical and business staff to help refine user requirements, build out Pie's Salesforce application (and SFDC-adjacent functionality) according to best practices, and ensure successful deployment.
This role is critical for achieving strategic company-level objectives, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a succinct operational experience for their stakeholders.

How You'll Do It
- Design
- Manage Salesforce security protocols including roles, profiles, sharing rules and permission sets, as well as license assignment
- Create and/or maintain key product documentation (e.g., customer journey map, technical specs, process mapping, etc.)
- Create and configure test driven development information into user stories
- Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Contribute to Pie's system documentation repository
- Collaborate
- Navigate ambiguity, resolve issues with users, and work autonomously to solve problems
- Train, educate, and coach business lines to enhance their knowledge and competencies to empower them and make them self-sufficient in owning and managing their data
- Assist in data analysis, data prep and research as needed by the user stories
- Execute
- Construct solutions to challenging business problems using standard SFDC declarative functionality (reports and dashboards, workflow rules, flows and process builders)
- Work on completing the regular internal system audits and database maintenance
- Responsible for maintaining data integrity across the platform
- Create and configure test driven development information into user stories
The Right Stuff
- 2-4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator; experience with Sales & Service Clouds (and adjacent tooling).
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Be a self-motivated, adaptable, agile learner, and a problem solver.
- Proven ability to work on diverse, cross-cultural teams; and to self-manage in a remote-first environment.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality. Experience integrating and supporting Salesforce apps is a plus.
- Salesforce Certifications [Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201)], Advanced Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM211) and Salesforce Developer (DEV 401)] are a huge plus.
- A willingness to travel ~15% of the time.
