Salesforce Technical Architect

The Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud environment. Your deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, industry best practices, and the retail landscape will be critical in developing scalable and robust solutions tailored to our specific business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Data, and IT, to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and implement scalable Salesforce architecture to support business processes, data integration, and business operations.
• Develop high-level solution designs and provide technical guidance to developers and administrators.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Design and implement Salesforce customizations, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Lead integration efforts to connect Salesforce with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, marketing automation, and inventory management platforms.
• Establish data management strategies, including data governance, data migration, and data quality assurance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless data flows and system interoperability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team to ensure best practices and high-quality code development.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and design sessions to drive alignment and promote collaboration.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements to optimize solution efficiency and user experience.
• Conduct periodic system audits and security reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, product roadmap, and new features, assessing their potential impact and applicability to our business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development or technical architecture, designing and implementing Salesforce solutions
• Minimum of 3 years leading teams or in people management
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.
• Expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
• Proven experience with system integration, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or Magento, and their integration with Salesforce.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (PD), or Salesforce Certified Administrator, are highly desirable.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,00 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
