What you'll do:

  • Mange the technical architecture for the Salesforce platform.
  • Create reusable tools, processes and technology built on the Salesforce platform.
  • Assess existing technical architecture, present solutions, and make changes to improve the Salesforce and nCino instances.
  • Provide expert knowledge of the following Salesforce tools and applications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, OmniStudio (Vlocity), Mulesoft, Shield, nCino, and SF Mobile.
  • Design the architecture and key technical components of the solution and help direct technical resources to develop and deliver the project deliverables.
  • Oversee and report on project status to the CMO, Salesforce Management, and other technical and business leader/key stakeholders.
  • Lead the management of overall development, design, and assignments providing both leadership and technical guidance ensuring project milestones are met and up to standard.
  • Work with technology partners to develop the content for development and solutions design deliverables, ensure project estimates cover all activities within scope, including project management and application development, software quality assurance reviews, and vendor and contract management activities.
  • Oversee and review changes to development project scope through accepted change management processes, impact assessment and documentation.
  • Oversee the development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps).
  • Manage auditing, third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives.

What do you need?

  • Proven track record of experience with extensive knowledge of the Salesforce and nCino platforms.
  • A deep understanding of Salesforce Architecture, Limits, Security, and workflow/automation features of the platform.
  • Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and tools and applications.
  • 10 or more years of relevant development and business experience in planning, building, and delivering custom applications on the Salesforce platform.
  • Deep expertise in and experience with technology standards and leading growing and varied teams of professionals in large-scale applications/projects across multiple areas involving significant scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with applications development life cycle management, information management practices, agile, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Understanding of existing, new, and emerging technologies with Salesforce.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for software developers to begin building.
  • Understand and able to translate the language of the business to influence and advise business and IT leaders.
  • Practical in approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Banking or Financial Services background is highly desired but not required.
