Salt Account Manager - West Region

Job Purpose and Impact

The Account Manager in Cargill Salt for the West Region is a results-oriented professional who participates in face-to-face and remote selling to the company's new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, service and solutions. This position is open to work from any of the following states: California, Nevada, Idaho and Arizona and must travel to support all locations in the West Region in US.

Key Accountabilities

• Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
• Develop and deliver sales proposals and conduct detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous related sales experience in Salt and/or Water Quality.
• Experience with customer relationship management software

Position Information

• Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
• This position is open to work from any of the following states: California, Nevada, Idaho and Arizona and must travel to support all locations in the West Region in US.
• The expected salary for this position is $63,000 - 85,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
