DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Salt Bath Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.
Job Summary:
Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Self-motivated and highly disciplined to work with minimal supervision.
• Takes initiative to do what is right, to raise concerns, and communicate effectively for continuous process improvement.
• Team oriented by being flexible and willing to work other areas as assigned to enable meeting of production targets.
• This is a 1st shift position, however, flexibility to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and overtime is required.
• Experience with automation technology is desired.
• Forklift, hazmat, and LOTO training will be required.
