Job Summary
- Assesses existing processes and suggest new ones that most effectively anticipate, manage, and reduce risk and its participants.
- Drafting and remitting internal communications for key program changes, as needed.
- Participating in the collaboration on related initiatives with key stakeholders (e.g., Legal, IT, Product
- Management, and Global Business Operations) and other subject matter experts.
- Maintains regulatory awareness and compliance to ensure adherence to risk-related policies and best
- practices.
- Assess potential impact of regulatory changes to Global Sanctions Policy and related business processes.
- Communicating with cross functional teams on Global Sanctions program and procedure updates.
- Support the completion of routine tasks and periodic initiatives associated with the Global Sanctions Program, such as: Perform continuous monitoring of Global Sanctions screening processes and escalate tool or system defects to the Global Sanctions Management team, Application Development and related Business Areas.
- Analyze trade messages from Institutional Trade Processing platforms to identify potential regulatory violation and provide guidance to both the internal and external clients.
- Conduct reviews of potential hits and submit required regulatory report, if needed.
- Assessing the impact of business developments and regulatory updates on the program, under the supervision of the Associated Director or Director; and
- Evaluate existing program documents and update if needed, in accordance with the existing regulatory
- requirements. Provide guidance to the business areas on their screening obligations, under the supervision of the Associate Director or Director.
- Participate in ongoing projects necessary to support the team's initiatives, both within the Compliance Department and across the firm.
- Monitor and document the completion of tasks as well as the escalation and resolution of compliance issues, as appropriate.
- Perform other special projects or assignments, as requested.
