Sanitation Manager

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Manager to join their team. As a Sanitation Manager, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting the overall operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Manager

Location: Groveport, OH 43125

Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

• Manage sanitation associates and third-party contractors for pre-operation and operational sanitation.
• Audit and update the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure timely and thorough sanitation tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and training for sanitation associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Continuously improve sanitation practices by optimizing sustainability and auditing procedures.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Experience in a regulated facility is required.
• Health and safety certifications as applicable; HACCP certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical writing skills.
