We're looking for an IT professional who will be responsible for handling the SAP ABAP for applications within Transportation and related functionalities (SAP SD/TM), custom P&G Truck optimization & release SAP solutions and regional customizations along with its integration with P&G ecosystem.

Candidate will need to:

• Lead the analysis, design, coding, testing for incidents, projects and continuous improvements.

• Provide direction and input on proposed regional changes with regards to the Global Landscape and Architecture of the Solution, act as gate keeper to ensure the Solution’s stability and standards.

Important Responsibilities:

• Own as Application Manager the Request for Change (RFC’s) gathering, analysis, validation and management of solution requirements in SAP SD-OM-TM

• Lead solution development governance from a technical & Product Team standpoint, quality assurance and release management for the application to meet business, user and collaborator’s needs

• Coordinates with Project Managers, Application Managers and support teams on the fixes and enhancements according project portfolio or Global standards compliance.

Job Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

• Fluency in English

• Advanced SAP ABAP programming Skills

• Proficient in Software Requirements documentation

• Communication skills & ability to learn quickly on custom solutions

• Ability to analyze complex problems, develop options, evaluate solutions, and ensure the right change is completed. Often that will require alignment with other product areas.

• A high degree of personal autonomy and ownership required to drive down solutions Total Cost to Own

ABAP Skills:

• ABAP Fundamentals: Arithmetic Operations, Control Statements, Internal Tables processing and Database Operations

• ABAP Dictionary: Domains, Data Elements, Type Groups, Structures, Tables, Views and Search Helps

• Improvement / Extensibility: User Exits, BTEs and BADIs

• Object-Oriented Programming: Classes, Objects and Methods

• Code Standards: Able to learn & apply ABAP coding standards and naming conventions

• Transport Management

• Performance Management: Able to identify and implement coding performance actions.

• Reporting capabilities: ALV

• IDOC handling

• Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, Debugging and Review short dumps thru ST22

• OSS Notes: Identification, technical analysis and implementation
