SAP ABAP Developer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SAP ABAP Developer in Brazil.

In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale SAP transformation program focused on the migration from ECC to S/4HANA, playing a key part in modernizing enterprise systems and ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions. You will work closely with functional analysts and technical teams to design and deliver high-quality ABAP developments that support critical business processes across multiple SAP modules. This is a hands-on engineering position where you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining complex SAP solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure reliable end-to-end implementation across development cycles. The role offers exposure to enterprise-level SAP architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and mission-critical transformation initiatives. You will be part of a highly technical team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and deliver SAP ABAP solutions for a large-scale S/4HANA transformation program across multiple SCRUM teams and functional domains.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain end-to-end ABAP developments including custom and standard enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust SAP solutions in collaboration with functional teams.
• Work across WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to support enterprise needs.
• Develop and optimize ABAP components including OData services, CDS views, AMDP procedures, and object-oriented ABAP programs.
• Support SAP integrations, data migration, and system enhancements across modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM, and IM.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and stability.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Requirements:

You are an experienced SAP ABAP developer with a strong background in enterprise SAP environments and hands-on expertise in both ECC and S/4HANA projects. You bring solid technical depth, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable SAP solutions. You are comfortable working in large, cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality code in fast-paced transformation programs.

• 7+ years of SAP development experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects involving S/4HANA.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ABAP and WRICEF development framework.
• Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, CDS views, OData services, AMDP, and object-oriented ABAP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Dictionary, report programming, enhancements, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP integrations including ALE/IDoc, forms (Adobe Forms), and data migration.
• Knowledge of multiple SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM, and IM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
